WALLS

1. All Icynene® - Spray a nominal amount of foam in wall cavity to achieve air-seal and R-value

2. Flash & Batt - Spray 1 in. of foam into wall cavity to achieve air-seal. Cover with friction-fit fiberglass batt to achieve desired R-value

      • Energy Efficiency - achieve R-17.5 in a 2x4 wall, R-25.5 in a 2x6
      • Cost - comparable in price to B.I.B.S system, with the advantage of greater efficiency
      • Sound Control - reduction of sound transfer and flanking noise

2. Urethane - Spray 2in. of foam into wall cavity to achieve air-seal and desired R-value
      • Advantages:
      • Energy Efficiency - highest R-inch
      • Retro-fitting wiring - 2in. of foam means approx 1.5in-3.5in of air-space behind drywall
      • Sound Control - reduction of sound transfer and flanking noise
      • Building Comfort - even temperatures easily maintained throughout the building

    CEILINGS

1. Icynene® - Install soffit vents. Spray 6in. of Icynene over entire ceiling to achieve R-value and air-seal. *Creating "hats" for all non-insulated recessed lighting is an additional cost/light*
      • Advantages:
      • Maximum air-seal is achieved - according to blower door testing
      • Building Health - mold, mildew, moisture, and condensation control
      • Occupant Health - reduction in air-borne pollutants, dust, pollens, allergens

2. Icy-Cell / Icy-Glass - Install soffit vents. Spray 2in.-3in. of Icynene® over entire ceiling to achieve air-seal. Blow cellulose or fiberglass on top of Icynene to achieve desired R-value. *Creating "hats" for all non-insulated recessed lighting is an additional cost/light*
      • Advantages:
      • Higher R-value - more R-value in the attic can qualify your home for extra rebates from participating utility companies

3. Air Seal Package (ASP) - Install soffit vents. Spray foam around all penetrations and seal all top-plates, recessed lighting, fixtures to achieve air-seal. Blow cellulose or fiberglass on top of ceiling to achieve desired R-value.

      • Higher R-value - more R-value in the attic can qualify your home for extra rebates from participating utility companies
      • Cost - a superior insulation package that fits into a tight budget

VAULTS

1. Icynene® - Spray Icynene® against roof deck at a specified depth. *Venting not necessary* See more info. about roof-venting with Icynene

FOUNDATIONS

1. Under Slab Insulation System - *After compacted fill* Install 6mil. poly on top of fill. Spray 1in. continuous slab of 2lb. or 3ob. polyurethane foam on top of poly.
2lb. compressive strength = 3750lbs/sq.ft.

3lb. compressive strength = 5000lbs/sq.ft.

      • Advantages:
      • Ideal for radiant floor heating of any kind. No seals to deteriorate over time, allowing moisture to come through.
      • Easier to work on than R-board.
      • Cost - a superior way to insulate under slabs for around $1/sq.ft.
      • Quick application/cure time - 2-3hours to spray a 2000sq.ft slab, concrete can be poured approx. 30min-45min from the time the foam has been sprayed.
